I was delighted to work full-time for nearly a year at Growing Bolder, a multichannel media company and lifestyle brand that engages the 50+ demographic with inspiring content about redefining the possibilities of life for aging adults. Growing Bolder reaches 150M+ people per year throughout the US and globally through a national PBS television show, NPR radio show and podcast, 100-page quarterly magazine, live events, and social media and digital channels.
As a member of the 3-person in-house design team, I was able to gain rich experience across the spectrum of creative output required to maintain this dynamic company and its many moving parts. 
The Magazine
I worked on hundreds of diverse pages for Growing Bolder's quarterly 100-page print magazine and monthly 32-page digital digest. Given bare copy from our writing team, the design team was granted the flexibility to be able to engineer creative page layouts as we saw fit. Below are several selected spreads that I designed: featuring a balance of type and content, engaging callouts, and full custom illustration by me.

The Bold Start: A Bite-Sized Email Newsletter
To further engage our mailing list of over 200,000, our marketing team developed the concept for a daily morning newsletter: featuring a quote graphic alongside a complementary inspiring message to start the morning. I developed the branding for The Bold Start, as well as many of the daily quote graphics, examples seen below.
Partnership Marketing
I worked with Growing Bolder's partner, Florida Blue Medicare, to create co-branded ad campaigns across digital and print for their annual Medicare enrollment advertising—as well as helping develop other co-branded partnership material as needed.
Merchandise Design
Growing Bolder has a robust merch store. I collaborated with the design team to bring several new concepts to life, and I designed the two covers below for our tear-and-share postcard book and coloring book.
Office Mural
Created for a livestreaming conference room, I designed this mural with a fun, busy, and grid-like composition.  I kept my illustration style distinctly on-brand and tied in inspirational key mottos to reflect GB's mission.
The Podcasts
I was responsible for rebranding our podcast thumbnails—updates seen below. They were crafted to look modern, bright, and inviting, and to work well at small sizes in podcast category chart lists in order to effectively attract new listener interest.
