Timeline:
March 2019 - April 2019
For my senior project in the design program at UCF, I created the identity for a coworking space and cafe in Seattle called Discourse—a supportive community for freelancing creatives to work, collaborate, be nourished, and feel professionally supported. Now a global phenomenon, coworking spaces are popping up in most major cities with an annual growth rate of 24.2%. It is predicted that there will be more than 30,432 coworking spaces and over 5.1 million coworking members by the year 2022. (Learn more cool facts about coworking here!)
Discourse promotes an atmosphere of communication, ideation, and deeply focused individual and collaborative work, catering to the need for a flexible new paradigm of remote employment with its varying membership tiers and amenities. The logo, with quotation marks in the shape of a D, emphasizes Discourse's mission to facilitate creative community, exchange of ideas, and leaving one's personal mark on the world.
